Automated pallet warehouse
Safe storage of goods on pallets
Pallet racking systems are used to store goods directly on standardized platforms, making them especially suitable for heavy or bulky items. When using a pallet warehouse, forklifts and pallet trucks can operate directly within the racking system. Automated solutions offer an efficient alternative to manual pallet racking systems.
An automated pallet warehouse allows heavy goods to be stored even at high elevations, making optimal use of the available space. Vertical storage helps reduce costs related to rent, heating, and energy consumption. Due to the compact construction of an automated pallet warehouse, stored goods are well protected from external influences and unauthorized access. It also prevents pallets from collapsing or being pushed over.
Automated pallet storage: high load capacity, increased convenience
The Hänel Lean-Lift® automated storage system can serve as a practical alternative to traditional pallet racks. It provides all the benefits of an automated system and enables quick access to stored goods. The goods come directly to the user — and access can even be done with a simple pallet jack, as the retrieval point is located at floor level.
With the multifunction control system, users can continuously monitor the current weight of each container. There's no need for manual load checks, as the automatic motor overload protection is integrated into the Lean-Lift® as a standard feature. Additionally, an optional weighing unit can be installed for more precise monitoring.
Heavy-duty storage
Pallet racking systems must be extremely stable to ensure high load-bearing capacity, even for heavy goods. It is essential that pallets are stored securely and that the structure itself is protected, for example, from collisions with forklifts. Numerous safety regulations make pallet racking systems a complex construction.
A Hänel automated pallet warehouse meets the highest standards and can be customized to fit the specific requirements and needs of any company.
